TRAVEL CHARGES & ASSOCIATED FEES
There are many queries as to why artists charge the amount they charge for travel. To you our valuable customer, please read the following carefully.
Often when your artist needs to travel to your location for makeup, she carries her makeup kit as well as other equipment that aids them in the process of creating and perfecting their craft on you. These can include but are not limited to tables, lighting, chairs, and more. Sometimes your artist can encounter location with stairs. She has to travel backward and forth to ensure every piece of equipment is brought to the location.
Your artist accounts for the distance and the time it takes from our usual set location to the location you provide us. This makes us block off extra time to get to you on time and sometimes we can encounter commute - more time blocked off. The time blocked for travel is also blocked off for another client who may also be requiring makeup. This explains travel fees. The travel fee accounts for the time, the distance it takes to get to you, and the inability to take another client as the time is taken to travel.
We hope this has made clear why we charge travel costs. We want to be able to provide services to as many beauties as you. So please only book the service you require.
OUT-OF-STUDIO COST
Out-of-studio cost is a one-off fee as part of the travel cost set by your artist to compensate for loss of bookings whilst traveling to you. The fees is generally from $50 depending on how many hours your artist loses out on bookings. If flying interstate, the fees are a bit more due to number of days your artist will be away for. Your artist will discuss this with you. Please also be reminded toll and parking charges are also added as required.
EARLY START FEES (earlier than 7am)
Early start fees is the fees your artist charges if she needs to operate outside her normal working hours.
If starting earlier than 5.30am, the charge on top of your makeup cost is $100per hour of early start. From 6am onwards, fees is charged at $80 per hr. If operating after business hours, same charges of $100 per hour applies. This charge will be added to your invoice under Early Start Fees.
